The main activities of the co-operative are as follows:
Retail Pharmacy
Unity NTUC Healthcare, a division of NTUC Healthcare Co-operative, is one of the leading retail pharmacy chains in Singapore and provides a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products at affordable prices.
Wholesale Distribution
The co-operative is involved in the distribution and marketing of medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare products through its subsidiary companies. These subsidiaries carry their own house-brands, and act as agents and distributor for other brands.
Medical Services
NTUC Healthcare's chain of dental [NTUC Denticare] and medical [NTUC Medicare] clinics operating island-wide help fulfils its mission - to help moderate the cost of healthcare in Singapore through promoting and delivering quality healthcare services at affordable prices.
The Co-operative also currently operates two Traditional Chinese Medicine [TCM] Clinics – the East West Clinic at Toa Payoh Central and the Yong Kang TCM Healthcare Clinic at AMK Hub.
In collaboration with the Thomson Medical Centre, there is now a Thomson Women Clinic located at AMK Hub.
In collaboration with the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, there is now a chronic care management centre at AMK Hub.
Other Areas
The Co-operative intends to play an even more active role in the healthcare scene in Singapore, and in the region. It seeks to widen its range of activities to meet the health care needs of workers and the public at large.
Through our 2 subsidiary companies, we are offering organic and functional food through Origins Healthcare and rehabilitative equipment and surgical supplies through NHC Health Resources.
Among other areas, the Co-operative is now looking at rehabilitation care and services to meet then needs of the aging population. We are also in the process of providing eye care services at the AMK Hub.
The co-operative believes in seeking and working with suitable partners to help develop its business network. |
